Condensed Milk Shortbread Cookies: Buttery Perfection in Every Bite

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the sweetened condensed milk until smooth and well-combined.
Add the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until incorporated.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring until the dough begins to come together. The dough should be soft and slightly sticky but manageable.
Shape the Cookies:

Take small portions of dough and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Gently press each ball with the back of a fork or your fingers to flatten them slightly, creating a simple pattern or just a smooth surface.
Bake the Cookies:

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve and Enjoy:

Once cooled, enjoy these delicious Condensed Milk Shortbread Cookies with a warm cup of tea or coffee, or simply indulge on their own!
