Cold Pasta Salad with Tuna: A Refreshing, Protein-Packed Meal

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fusilli pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 10-12 minutes, until al dente.

Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.

Prepare the Vegetables:

While the pasta is cooling, finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

Combine the Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, tuna (flaked with a fork), onion, garlic, and cherry tomatoes. Gently toss to mix.

Season and Serve:

Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also drizzle some olive oil or a simple dressing if you prefer extra flavor. Toss everything together.

Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
