Classic Jelly-Filled Donuts – Soft, Sweet, and Irresistible

In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add egg, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and flour. Knead the dough until smooth. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour.
Step 2: Shape & Fry
Roll out the dough to about ½-inch thickness and cut out circles using a round cutter.
Let the dough circles rest for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Drain the fried donuts on paper towels to remove excess oil.
