Classic Chicken Parmesan

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Set up a breading station: Place the flour in one shallow dish, beat the eggs in another, and mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, oregano, basil, and garlic powder in a third dish.
Bread the Chicken:

Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, making sure it’s fully coated. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
Fry the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Assemble the Dish:

In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken breasts on top of the sauce. Spoon more marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then sprinkle evenly with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake:

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Serve:

Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve the Chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta, garlic bread, or a green salad for a complete meal.
