Classic Butter Cookies: Simple, But Irresistibly Delicious

Shape the Cookies:

Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. You can gently flatten them with a fork or your fingers for a traditional look. For a decorative touch, sprinkle the tops with colored sugar or sprinkles before baking.
Bake the Cookies:

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden. The center of the cookies should remain soft. Keep an eye on them, as baking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the cookies.
Cool and Serve:

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee!
