Cinnamon Roll Cake

Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Make the Cake Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Cake: Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Then, drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the cake batter in a marbled pattern.

Bake the Cake: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

Make the Glaze: While the cake is cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Glaze the Cake: Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake. Slice and serve!
