Chocolate Banana Brownies

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan.

Mash the Bananas: In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Mix Wet Ingredients: Stir in the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg (or flax egg for a vegan version) until well combined.

Sift Dry Ingredients: Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks to add extra richness to the brownies.

Bake the Brownies: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Use a toothpick to check for doneness—when it comes out with a few moist crumbs, the brownies are ready.

Cool & Enjoy: Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting them into squares.
