Chicken Tacos Recipe

1. Prepare the Chicken Marinade 🔥
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, oregano, red pepper flakes, and lime juice.

Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the marinade.

Cover and marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).

2. Cook the Chicken 🍗
Grill Method:

Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until nicely charred and internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C).

Stovetop Method:

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until fully cooked.

Shredded Chicken Option:

After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then shred with two forks.

3. Assemble the Tacos 🌮
Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 10 seconds.

Fill each tortilla with sliced or shredded chicken.

Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, onion, and avocado.

Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.

4. Serve & Enjoy! 😋
Serve tacos with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or jalapeños for extra flavor!

Pair with Mexican rice, refried beans, or tortilla chips.
