Cheesy Stuffed Meatloaf

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix everything together until well combined. You can use your hands for this step to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 2: Shape the Meatloaf
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a greased loaf pan, shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape, about 9-10 inches long. Make sure the loaf is even and compact.
Step 3: Stuff the Meatloaf
Create a small indentation or well in the center of the meatloaf. Fill this well with the shredded cheddar cheese and diced green bell pepper. Carefully fold the meat around the cheese and bell pepper, sealing the center so that the cheese doesn’t escape while baking.
Step 4: Glaze the Meatloaf
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this glaze over the top of the meatloaf, making sure it’s evenly covered.
Step 5: Bake the Meatloaf
Bake the meatloaf in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45-55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Step 6: Serve
Once the meatloaf is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute and makes it easier to cut.
