Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Bolognese Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red chili flakes (if using).
Stir in the tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Prepare the Spaghetti Base:
In a large bowl, toss the cooked spaghetti with the eggs, heavy cream, and half of the Parmesan cheese. This will help bind the spaghetti layers.
Assemble the Stack:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a round or rectangular baking dish.
Spread half of the spaghetti mixture evenly in the dish to form the base layer.
Top with half of the Bolognese sauce, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the top with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Bake the stack in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
For a golden crust, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the stack to cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
