Cheesy Quark and Dill Pancakes

Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the quark, grated hard cheese, and egg. Mix together until smooth and well combined.

Add Dry Ingredients: Add the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and chopped dill (if using) to the bowl. Stir everything together until a thick batter forms.

Cook the Pancakes: Heat the olive oil or butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of batter into the pan for each pancake. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.

Fry Until Golden: Cook each pancake for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. You may need to adjust the heat to ensure they cook evenly without burning.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the pancakes from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve warm, garnished with extra fresh dill or a dollop of sour cream if desired.
