Cheesy Garlic Cruffins: A Savory Twist on a Classic Treat

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a standard muffin tin with cooking spray or lightly butter it to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Step 3: Assemble the Cruffins
Unroll the croissant dough and separate the individual triangles.
Brush each triangle with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
Sprinkle a little of the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese onto each dough triangle.
Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle tightly into a small log, making a mini croissant shape.
Step 4: Shape and Place in the Muffin Tin
Once all the dough triangles are rolled, place each one into the muffin tin, standing up vertically. They should fit snugly together.
Repeat until all the dough triangles are used and each muffin tin cavity is filled with the cheese-filled croissants.
Step 5: Bake
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
If desired, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end for extra golden crispiness.
Step 6: Serve
Remove the cruffins from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
