Cheesy Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes: A Perfectly Satisfying Meal

Season the steaks on both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the skillet is hot, add the steaks and sear them for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust the time based on your preferred doneness).
Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
If using, add fresh thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
Return the steaks to the skillet, spoon some of the garlic butter over them, and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Cover with a lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Potatoes:

Heat butter and olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed potatoes and sauté for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to become golden and crispy.
Add the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and the potatoes are tender and crispy.
If desired, sprinkle the potatoes with Parmesan cheese and cook for another minute to allow it to melt.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
Serve:

Serve the garlic butter steak alongside the cheesy garlic butter potatoes. Enjoy your delicious, flavorful meal!
