Cheddar Grits & Spicy Shrimp with Crispy Bacon

A comforting Southern favorite with creamy cheddar grits and perfectly seasoned shrimp!

Ingredients:
For the Grits:

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup stone-ground grits

4 cups chicken broth (or water)

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

4 slices crispy bacon, crumbled

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
