Assemble the Tart:
Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the center of the pastry, leaving the edges clear. Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese over the onions.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crisp, and the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary, if desired. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
