Caramel Turtle Poke Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Prepare the Cake Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat the mixture until smooth and fully combined.
Step 3: Bake the Cake

Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Step 4: Poke Holes in the Cake

Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven. Use a skewer or the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
Step 5: Soak the Cake

Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the cake, making sure it soaks into the holes. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Step 6: Frost the Cake

After the cake has cooled, spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the top.
Step 7: Garnish the Cake

Sprinkle chopped pecans over the frosted cake, then arrange caramel-filled chocolate turtles on top for an extra special touch.
