Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Layer Apple Filling
Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon and nutmeg (if using) over the apples.

Step 3: Drizzle Caramel
Pour 1/2 cup caramel sauce evenly over the apple mixture, making sure it’s distributed well.

Step 4: Add Cake Mix
Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the apples and caramel sauce. Make sure to cover as much of the surface as possible.

Step 5: Melted Butter
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Try to cover all the dry cake mix to ensure an even bake.

Step 6: Add Nuts (Optional)
If you like extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the cake mix.

Step 7: Bake
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Step 8: Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Step 9: Enjoy!
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for the perfect finishing touch.
