Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the wheel of Camembert cheese in a small oven-safe dish, such as a baking dish or cast-iron skillet. You can leave the cheese in its wooden box if it comes in one, but be sure to remove any plastic wrapping.
Drizzle with Honey and Olive Oil:
Drizzle the honey over the top of the Camembert wheel. You can adjust the amount based on your preference for sweetness.
(Optional) Drizzle with a little olive oil for extra richness and a subtle flavor.
Add Fresh Thyme:
Gently pull the leaves off the thyme sprigs and sprinkle them over the cheese. Alternatively, you can place the sprigs whole on top for a more rustic presentation.
Roast the Cheese:
Place the cheese in the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and oozing. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t overcook or spill out of its rind.
Serve:
Remove the cheese from the oven and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Serve immediately with slices of crusty bread, crackers, or sliced fruit for dipping.
