Cajun Surf and Turf Skillet with Bell Peppers and Onions: A Flavorful Feast in One Pan

In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Toss the shrimp and steak strips in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
Sauté the Vegetables:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers, onions, and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set them aside.
Cook the Steak:

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside with the vegetables.
Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
Combine and Serve:

Once the shrimp are cooked, return the steak and sautéed vegetables to the skillet. Toss everything together to combine and heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
