Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/4 cup of pasta water for later.
Season and Cook the Steak:
Season the steak strips with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the steak.
Prepare the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer, scraping up any flavorful bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and reserved pasta water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine the Pasta and Protein:
Add the cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Serve and Garnish:
Transfer the pasta to serving plates, garnish with chopped parsley, and add more Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
