Cajun Shrimp and Steak: A Sizzling Southern Feast!

In a small bowl, combine all the Cajun seasoning ingredients. Set aside.
2. Season the Steak:

Season both sides of the steak with salt, pepper, and a generous amount of the Cajun seasoning.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired doneness is reached. Remove from the pan and let rest.
3. Cook the Shrimp:

In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.
Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked through. Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, then set them aside.
4. Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce:

In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan and toss to coat in the sauce. Optionally, stir in some red pepper flakes for extra heat.
5. Assemble the Dish:

Serve the seared steak topped with the creamy Cajun shrimp and sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
