Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Skillet: A One-Pan Flavor Explosion

Step 1: Prep the Ingredients
Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel.
Toss shrimp with 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning and set aside.
Step 2: Sauté the Sausage
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sausage slices and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Vegetables
Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet.
Sauté bell peppers, zucchini, and onion until slightly tender but still crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Step 4: Cook the Shrimp
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Step 5: Combine and Season
Return sausage and vegetables to the skillet with the shrimp.
Sprinkle with remaining Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme. Stir to combine and heat through, about 2-3 minutes.
