Cajun Salmon and Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce – A Flavorful Seafood Delight

Season the salmon fillets and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Cook the Salmon:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the salmon and set it aside.
Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set them aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Stir in the lemon zest and red pepper flakes (if using). Let the sauce simmer for a minute to allow the flavors to combine.
Assemble the Dish:

Return the cooked salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them.
Let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the salmon and shrimp are well-coated with the flavorful sauce.
Garnish and Serve:

Sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish before serving.
