Broccoli Ham & Cheese Crustless Quiche (Frittata)

In a small amount of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of butter, sauté the sliced onion and broccoli. Once the onions have softened, stir in the chopped ham and remove from heat.

Prepare the Base:
Transfer 3/4 of the cooked filling (broccoli, ham, and onion) to a 28cm butter-greased pie dish or quiche dish.

Make the Egg Mixture:
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the heavy cream, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

Assemble the Quiche:
Pour the egg mixture over the filling in the pie dish. Use a fork to gently move the vegetables to ensure the egg mixture is evenly distributed. Scatter the remaining broccoli, ham, and onions on top.

Bake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the quiche for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until it is set and slightly browned on top.

Serve and Enjoy:
Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm as a standalone dish or with your favorite sides!
