Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry

Wash and pat dry the broccoli florets and mushrooms. Slice the mushrooms and set them aside.
Cook the Vegetables:

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil.
Toss in the garlic and ginger, stirring quickly until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 2–3 minutes. If needed, add a splash of water to help steam the broccoli slightly.
Add the sliced mushrooms and stir fry for another 3–4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Make the Sauce:

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and the cornstarch slurry (if you want a thicker sauce).
Pour the sauce over the vegetables, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the vegetables are well coated.
Finish and Serve:

Drizzle the stir fry with sesame oil and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles, or as a side dish.
