Boston Cream Pie

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer (do not boil).

Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and glossy.

4. Assemble the Pie:
Place one layer of the cake on a serving plate.

Spread the custard evenly on top of the bottom layer.

Place the second cake layer on top, gently pressing down.

Pour the chocolate ganache over the top, allowing it to drip down the sides.

5. Chill or Serve:
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to allow the ganache to set, or serve at room temperature if you prefer.
