Boston Cream Cupcakes

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
Prepare the vanilla cupcake mix according to package instructions, or use your favorite homemade recipe.
Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.
Step 2: Make the Cream Filling
In a mixing bowl, whip together heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Once the cupcakes are cool, use a small knife or cupcake corer to remove the center of each cupcake, creating a hole for the cream filling.
Spoon or pipe the whipped cream filling into the center of each cupcake, filling them generously.
Step 3: Make the Chocolate Ganache
In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter over low heat until warmed through.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth and glossy.
Let the ganache cool slightly before drizzling it over the tops of the filled cupcakes.
Step 4: Assemble and Serve
Allow the ganache to set for about 10-15 minutes before serving to let it firm up a little.
