Bold and Spicy Cajun Salmon and Shrimp – A Flavorful Seafood Feast

Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Season the shrimp with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cook the Salmon:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the salmon is cooked through and has a golden crust. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and opaque. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Sauté the Spinach:
Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until wilted. Stir everything together to coat the shrimp and spinach in the flavorful garlic butter.

Assemble the Dish:
Place the cooked salmon fillets on plates, then top each fillet with the shrimp and spinach mixture. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately with your favorite side dish such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
