Best Peach Dump Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Peaches:
If using canned peaches, drain them well and spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. If using fresh peaches, arrange the sliced peaches evenly in the dish.

Add Cinnamon and Vanilla (Optional):
Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the peaches for extra flavor. You can also add a splash of vanilla extract if you like.

Add the Cake Mix:
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not mix it in; just spread it out as evenly as possible.

Pour the Butter:
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. It’s okay if some parts of the cake mix are not fully covered by the butter – it will melt and form a golden, crunchy topping as it bakes.

Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.

Serve:
Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra special touch.
