Best Flatbread in a Pan – No Oven Needed!

Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. If you’re adding garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor, mix them in now.

Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients
Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Start mixing with a spoon or your hands until the dough starts to come together. If the dough feels too dry, add a little more water, a tablespoon at a time. You want a soft, but not sticky dough.

Step 3: Knead the Dough
On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as you knead.

Step 4: Divide and Roll
Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions (depending on how large you want your flatbreads). Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten each ball with a rolling pin into a thin round disc, about 6 inches in diameter.

Step 5: Cook the Flatbreads
Heat a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Place one flatbread into the hot, dry skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on the first side, or until bubbles form. Flip the bread and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Step 6: Serve
Once cooked, remove the flatbread from the pan and set it aside. Repeat the process for the remaining portions of dough. Serve warm, and enjoy!
