Beef Tenderloin Crostini with Parmesan Cream Sauce

Step 1: Prepare the Baguette Crostini
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice lightly with olive oil.
Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Beef Tenderloin
Season the beef tenderloin slices with salt and pepper.
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the beef slices in batches and sear quickly on each side for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and fresh thyme. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 4: Assemble the Crostinis
Place a slice of beef on each toasted baguette slice.
Spoon a generous amount of the Parmesan cream sauce over the beef.
Garnish with additional fresh thyme if desired.
