Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta Filling

Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain the shells and set them aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Filling:

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef, and stir well to combine.

Stir in the ricotta cheese and mix until smooth and well combined. Remove from heat.

Stuff the Shells:

Carefully spoon the beef and ricotta mixture into each cooked pasta shell. Make sure the shells are well-stuffed.

Assemble the Dish:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.

Place the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.

Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Bake:

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
