Cover with Olive Oil:

Freeze:

Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and freeze the cubes until solid, which typically takes a few hours.

Store and Use:

Once frozen, pop the basil oil cubes out of the tray and transfer them into a resealable plastic bag or airtight container for long-term storage in the freezer.

Whenever you need basil for sautéing, stir-fries, soups, or sauces, simply pop out a cube and use it!
