Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants: A Savory Delight with Buttery Herb Glaze

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Assemble the Sandwiches:

Place the bottom halves of the croissants on the prepared baking sheet.

Layer each with a slice of ham, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese. For extra cheesiness, you can add another slice of ham and cheese.

Place the croissant tops back on to complete the sandwiches.

Prepare the Buttery Glaze:

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey (if using), poppy seeds, dried onion, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Brush the Croissants:

Using a pastry brush, generously spread the buttery glaze over the tops of the croissants.

Bake:

Cover the croissants loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden brown, crispy, and the cheese is melted.

Serve:

Let the croissants cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them best when warm and melty!
