Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Honey, Fig, and Prosciutto

Prepare Puff Pastry:
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to a size that can fully wrap the brie. Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry.

Assemble:
Drizzle honey over the top of the brie. Arrange the sliced figs and prosciutto on top of the cheese. Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry over the cheese, sealing it completely. You can trim excess pastry or fold it in to create a neat package.

Egg Wash:
Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the puff pastry to give it a golden finish when baked.

Bake:
Place the wrapped brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crisp.

Serve:
Allow the brie to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme, if desired, and serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh fruit.
