Baked Apples with Blue Cheese and Honey Delight: A Sweet and Savory Treat

Prepare the Apples: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to form a small well. You can use an apple corer or carefully cut around the center with a knife, ensuring there’s enough room for the filling.
Stuff the Apples: In a small bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, walnuts (if using), and thyme. Stir to mix well. Stuff each apple with the blue cheese mixture, packing it gently into the center of the apples.
Prepare for Baking: Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish. Dot the top of each apple with a small cube of butter, and drizzle a little honey over each one.
Bake the Apples: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork. For a more caramelized top, remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
Serve: Remove the apples from the oven and drizzle with additional honey before serving. Garnish with extra thyme or rosemary for a beautiful presentation.
