Apple Oatmeal Bowl

In a small bowl, soak the rolled oats in water for about 10-15 minutes to soften them. If you’re short on time, you can skip this step and cook them straight away.

Prepare the Apple:
While the oats are soaking, wash and core the apple, then chop it into small cubes.

Cook the Oats:
Drain the soaked oats and transfer them to a small saucepan. Add a little water (or milk if you prefer a creamier texture) to the saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the liquid.

Sweeten with Dates:
While the oats cook, chop the Medjool dates into small pieces and add them to the oats. Stir well to incorporate the natural sweetness of the dates into the oatmeal.

Add the Apple:
Once the oats are cooked, stir in the chopped apple. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the apple softens slightly.

Serve and Enjoy:
Spoon the oatmeal into a bowl and top with any extra apple slices or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Serve warm and enjoy a cozy, nutritious breakfast.
