Air Fryer Potato Cake: A Quick & Easy Treat for Beginners

Grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor. After grating, squeeze out any excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
Mix the Ingredients:

In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, flour, cheese, green onions, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until the mixture is well combined.
Form the Potato Cakes:

Take small portions of the potato mixture and form them into small patties, about 1/2-inch thick. You should be able to make about 6-8 cakes, depending on size.
Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Cook the Potato Cakes:

Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the potato cakes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potato cakes are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Serve:

Remove the potato cakes from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a snack, side dish, or even a light meal!
