Air Fryer Dry Rub Ribs – Crispy, Tender, and Full of Flavor!

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it hasn’t already been done. This will help the rub penetrate better and make the ribs more tender.
Rub olive oil (or mustard) on both sides of the ribs to help the dry rub adhere.
Step 2: Make the Dry Rub
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground mustard, and dried thyme or oregano.
Coat the ribs generously with the dry rub, making sure to cover both sides evenly.
Step 3: Cook the Ribs in the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the ribs in the air fryer basket, curling them slightly to fit if necessary. If your air fryer basket is small, you may need to cut the rack into smaller sections.
Cook the ribs for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are tender and the outside is crispy. If you like your ribs a little more crispy, cook them for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
Optionally, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce in the last 5 minutes of cooking for extra flavor.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
