How to Prepare Tasty Crispy Chips Without Using a Drop of Oil: The Trick You Didn’t Know

If you’re craving crispy chips but want to skip the oil, there’s an easy trick that can give you crunchy, delicious chips without any frying or deep frying. Here’s how to make them in your oven or air fryer, keeping things healthy and oil-free.

Ingredients:
Potatoes (or sweet potatoes)

Salt (to taste)

Optional: herbs, spices, or seasoning (such as paprika, garlic powder, or pepper)

How to Make Crispy Chips Without Oil:
Preheat your Oven or Air Fryer:

For Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

For Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).

Slice the Potatoes:

Wash and peel (optional) your potatoes.

Slice them very thinly, about 1/8-inch thick. The thinner the slices, the crispier your chips will be.

You can use a mandoline slicer to get even slices if you have one.
