World’s Best Honey Garlic Pork Chops: A Sweet and Savory Delight

Season both sides of the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
Sear the Pork Chops:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. The pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Glaze the Pork Chops:

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top of each one. Let the pork chops cook in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken and coat the meat.
Serve:

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and drizzle the remaining sauce over the top. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
