In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Mix everything together thoroughly, ensuring that the spinach and cheese are evenly distributed throughout the chicken mixture.
Step 2: Shape the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into round burger patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Step 3: Cook the Patties
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown on both sides.
If you prefer, you can also grill the patties on a preheated grill for about 5-6 minutes per side.
Step 4: Assemble the Burgers
Once the chicken patties are cooked, place them on the burger buns (if using) and add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
Optionally, you can melt an extra slice of white cheddar cheese on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking for extra cheesy goodness.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Serve the burgers with a side of crispy fries, a salad, or any side of your choice for a complete meal.
