Vegan Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steaks: A Delicious, Meatless Delight

Clean the Lion’s Mane mushrooms gently with a damp cloth. Slice them into thick “steak” pieces, about 1-1.5 inches thick.

Season the Mushrooms:
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Mushrooms:
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the mushroom steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and tender. You can brush a little of the marinade over them while they cook for extra flavor.

Garnish and Serve:
Once cooked, remove the mushroom steaks from the pan and place them on a plate. Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme before serving.
