Vanilla Almond Chia Energy Bites: The Perfect Grab-and-Go Breakfast

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, slivered almonds, and salt. If using chocolate chips or cranberries, fold them in.
Chill the Mixture: Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to firm up the mixture for easier handling.
Form into Bites: Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. You should get about 12-15 bites.
Chill Again: Place the bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for another 20 minutes to set.
