Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake: A Decadent Dream for Chocolate Lovers

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box (usually 350°F or 175°C).
Grease and flour a springform pan (8-inch) or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the cake batter as per the instructions on the box, and pour it into the prepared pan.
Bake the cake according to the package directions, typically 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely in the pan before removing.
Step 2: Make the Dark Chocolate Mousse

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate, heavy cream, and milk. Melt them together using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Once cooled, beat the mixture with a hand mixer until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Step 3: Make the Milk Chocolate Mousse

Repeat the process for the milk chocolate mousse: melt the milk chocolate with heavy cream and milk, then beat in the vanilla and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
Step 4: Make the White Chocolate Mousse

For the white chocolate mousse, melt the white chocolate with the heavy cream and milk. Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, then whip until soft peaks form.
Step 5: Assemble the Cake

Once the cake has cooled, place it in the center of a clean, chilled springform pan.
Spread the dark chocolate mousse over the cake base, smoothing it into an even layer.
Add the milk chocolate mousse on top of the dark chocolate layer, spreading it evenly.
Finally, top with the white chocolate mousse, smoothing it to cover the cake completely.
Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the mousses to set and the flavors to meld together.
Step 6: Serve and Garnish

Once set, remove the cake from the springform pan and place it on a serving platter.
Garnish with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or fresh berries for an extra touch.
