The Easiest Way to Clean Your Oven While You Sleep: A Natural Trick

Prepare the Cleaning Paste: In a small bowl, mix ½ cup of baking soda with a few tablespoons of water to create a thick paste. The consistency should be spreadable but not runny.

Apply the Paste: Turn off your oven and make sure it’s cool to the touch. Spread the baking soda paste evenly over the inside surfaces of your oven, focusing on the areas with the most buildup. Make sure to cover all the greasy spots and stains. If your oven has a glass door, don’t forget to apply the paste there as well.

Let It Sit: Once you’ve covered the oven with the paste, leave it to sit for at least 12 hours—or overnight. This will allow the baking soda to work its magic and loosen the grease and grime.

Wipe It Off: In the morning, dampen a cloth or sponge with water and wipe off the baking soda paste. You’ll see how easily the grease comes off with minimal scrubbing.

Spray with Vinegar: For any remaining residue, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and lightly spray it over the cleaned areas. The vinegar will react with any leftover baking soda, causing a fizzy reaction that helps lift away any stubborn bits of grime.

Final Wipe: Once the fizzing stops, wipe the oven down with a clean, damp cloth. Your oven should be shining like new!
