The Best Banana Egg Cake


Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth. You can use a fork or potato masher to do this.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, 60 g sugar, 40 ml cooking oil, and 120 ml milk until well combined. Add the mashed bananas to this mixture and stir to combine.

Combine Dry Ingredients:
In another bowl, sift together the 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp cooking oil, and any other dry ingredients you’d like to add (such as baking powder, flour, etc.). If you’d like to keep the recipe simple, you can skip this step.

Combine Everything Together:
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until fully combined.

Bake:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
