The Bay Leaf Trick That Saves You Money at the Store

Check Your Pantry:
Locate dry goods that tend to attract moisture or pests—flour, rice, grains, and dried legumes are the top ones.

Add Bay Leaves:
Place 1–2 dried bay leaves directly into each bag or container. For larger containers (like big tubs of rice or oats), use 3–4 leaves.

Seal and Store:
Close your packaging tightly. If it’s not resealable, transfer it to airtight jars or containers and drop the bay leaves inside.

Leave Them In:
The bay leaves stay in the container long-term. Replace them every 2–3 months for best results.
