“Tater Tot Breakfast Bowl with Sausage Gravy – A Hearty Morning Treat”

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake according to the package instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure they’re evenly crispy.
Prepare the Sausage Gravy:

While the tater tots are baking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the breakfast sausage. Cook until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes.
Once the sausage is cooked through, sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir to combine. Let it cook for about 1 minute to remove the raw flour taste.
Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly, until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Adjust the seasoning to taste. Once the gravy is thick and creamy, remove from heat.
Cook the Eggs:

In a separate skillet, heat a little butter or olive oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook them to your preferred doneness. You can make them scrambled, fried, or poached—whatever you prefer for your breakfast bowl.
Assemble the Breakfast Bowl:

Once the tater tots are crispy and golden brown, remove them from the oven.
In each serving bowl, place a generous portion of tater tots as the base.
Top with one or two eggs, cooked to your liking.
Spoon the sausage gravy generously over the eggs and tater tots, making sure to coat everything in creamy goodness.
If you like, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top while the gravy is still hot, allowing it to melt over the dish.
Serve:

Serve the breakfast bowls immediately while the tater tots are hot and crispy, and the gravy is warm and comforting. Add a dash of hot sauce or extra seasoning if you like a little more flavor kick.
