Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, mix warm milk and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then sprinkle the dry yeast over the milk mixture. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until the yeast becomes bubbly and foamy.
Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, combine the wheat flour and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.
Mix and knead: Stir the mixture until it forms a dough. Then, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Let it rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
Shape the rolls: Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls. Place a piece of cheese inside each ball and roll it into a tight ball, sealing the cheese inside.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the cheese-filled dough balls on a baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese has melted inside.
Serve warm: Enjoy these soft, cheesy bread rolls fresh out of the oven, perfect with any dish or as a standalone snack.
